- Fix broken relative links in features.md
- Reduce repetition across docs by centralizing Bases info in core-concepts.md
- Consolidate task-management.md recurring tasks and reminders sections
- Simplify features/integrations.md and features/calendar-integration.md
- Reduce task-defaults.md Default Reminders section from 227 to 24 lines
- Add v4/Bases troubleshooting and OAuth calendar troubleshooting sections
- Update troubleshooting.md with current settings paths and GitHub link
- Update calendar-setup.md with Azure manifest redirect URI instructions

Integrations

TaskNotes integrates with external services and Obsidian's core plugins.

Bases Core Plugin

TaskNotes v4 uses Obsidian's Bases core plugin for its main views (Task List, Kanban, Calendar, Agenda). Bases must be enabled from Settings → Core Plugins.

External Calendars

TaskNotes supports bidirectional sync with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook via OAuth, plus read-only access to any calendar via ICS subscriptions.

HTTP API

A REST API enables external applications to create, update, and query tasks. Use this for automation, browser extensions, mobile apps, or custom integrations.

Webhooks

Send task data to external services when tasks are created, updated, or completed. Supports custom payload transformations for services like Slack, Discord, and Microsoft Teams.
