Tasks

Choose what a repeat counts from. The due-date picker now has a "Count next from" toggle: Due date keeps a task on its original cadence no matter when you finish it, while Completion counts the next occurrence from the moment you tick it off (the "30 days after I actually did it" case). This was always possible by typing "when done" on the end of the rule — now it's a visible control, which is what you want when rescheduling something that's slipped.
Skip to next occurrence. A new command and right-click item on repeating tasks pushes one to its next occurrence without completing it — for "not this time". Completing would either claim you did work you didn't, or leave a history entry saying so. Skipping just moves the schedule, respects the anchor above, and is undoable.
